3 results about "Sphericity" patented technology

Sphericity is a measure of how closely the shape of an object resembles that of a perfect sphere. For example, the sphericity of the balls inside a ball bearing determines the quality of the bearing, such as the load it can bear or the speed at which it can turn without failing. Sphericity is a specific example of a compactness measure of a shape. Defined by Wadell in 1935, the sphericity, Ψ, of a particle is the ratio of the surface area of a sphere with the same volume as the given particle to the surface area of the particle: Ψ=π¹/³(6Vₚ)²/³/Aₚ where Vₚ is volume of the particle and Aₚ is the surface area of the particle.

The invention relates to a low-density high-intensity ceramsite fracturing propping agent and a preparation method thereof. The low-density high-intensity ceramsite fracturing propping agent has a core material body which is composed of the following materials in percentage by weight: 30-40% of bauxite, 10-15% of talcum, 10-12 % of mullite, 12-15% of metakaolin, 6-15% of potassium feldspar, 3-6.5% of titanium dioxide, 1-3% of manganese powder, 3-4.5% of nano calcium carbonate, 2.5-3.5% of iron trioxide and 2.5-3.5% of magnesium orthosilicate; a gel breaker layer is arranged outside the core material body, and the gel breaker layer is sequentially coated with an external coating and a lubricant layer. When in preparation, various materials are firstly ball-milled, sieved and graded, and then matched in different ways; the potassium feldspar and the titanium dioxide both can reduce reaction temperature to a certain extent; the added manganese powder mainly plays a role in catalyzing; the nano calcium carbonate plays a role in reducing density of product; sintering temperature needed by the product is 1250 DEG C; the product is low in density, strong in anti-fracture capacity and high in sphericity; and meanwhile, the production technology is simple and easy to popularize and implement.
