Abstract

The invention discloses a hardware WDT-based monitoring method. The method comprises the following steps that a monitoring program reads configuration information of a service or process needing to bemonitored based on the hardware WDT; the monitoring program calls the service or process based on the configuration information; whether the monitoring program calling service or process is overtimeor not is judged; and in response to that the monitoring program call service or process is overtime, the service or process is restarted. The invention further discloses computer equipment and a readable storage medium. According to the method and the device for monitoring based on the hardware WDT provided by the invention, the association between the monitoring of the software service or process and the hardware WDT can be established, and the stability of the hardware WDT is used for ensuring the stable and safe operation of a software monitoring program.
