3 results about "Hydrodesulfurization" patented technology

Hydrodesulfurization (HDS) is a catalytic chemical process widely used to remove sulfur (S) from natural gas and from refined petroleum products, such as gasoline or petrol, jet fuel, kerosene, diesel fuel, and fuel oils. The purpose of removing the sulfur, and creating products such as ultra-low-sulfur diesel, is to reduce the sulfur dioxide (SO₂) emissions that result from using those fuels in automotive vehicles, aircraft, railroad locomotives, ships, gas or oil burning power plants, residential and industrial furnaces, and other forms of fuel combustion.

The invention relates to a preparation method of a hydrodesulfurization catalyst taking a mesoporous carbon material as a carrier, and the preparation method of the catalyst comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing molybdenum salt, cobalt salt, a template agent, a carbon source and a vulcanizing agent according to certain parts by weight to form a precursor solution of the catalyst, and then carrying out freezing and vacuum sublimation drying; and finally, roasting, washing and drying the product to obtain the mesoporous structure carbon material loaded high-activity hydrodesulfurization catalyst with uniformly distributed active components. According to the invention, in-situ growth of a high-activity II-type CoMoS active phase and synchronous synthesis and effective riveting of a mesoporous carbon structure are realized, and the catalyst is rich in active sites, developed in pore structure, small in mass transfer resistance and relatively high in hydrodesulfurization reaction activity.

The invention provides a full-range FCC gasoline combined desulfurization process which comprises the following steps: one, making full-range FCC gasoline and hydrogen gas contact with a dealkadiene catalyst, to remove alkadiene in the full-range FCC gasoline; two, fractionating to form a heavy component, an intermediate component and a light component; three, carrying out hydrodesulfurization on the heavy component, to obtain a low-sulfur heavy component; and carrying out hydrogen presence desulfurization adsorption desulfurization on the intermediate component, to obtain a low-sulfur intermediate component; four, mixing the low-sulfur heavy component, the low-sulfur intermediate component and the light component, to obtain super-low-sulfur gasoline with the sulfur content of less than 10 ppmw. The invention also provides a full-range FCC gasoline combined desulfurization device. Through selective hydrogenation dealkadiene and the hydrodesulfurization and hydrogen presence adsorption desulfurization combined ultra-deep desulphurization composite type treatment, sulfur in the full-range FCC gasoline sulfur is removed to 10 ppmw or less, the loss of octane number is less than 2 units, and the liquid yield is more than 99.8%.
