Abstract

The invention discloses a ship waste gas desulfuration device and method. The ship waste gas desulfuration device comprises a primary impurity removal box and a secondary impurity removal box. A gas outlet end of the lower right side of the primary impurity removal box is connected with the secondary impurity removal box through a communicating pipe. An air inlet pipe is arranged on the upper leftside of the primary impurity removal box. A loading frame is arranged in the primary impurity removal box. Vent holes are evenly distributed in the middle of the bottom of the loading frame. An isolation net frame is horizontally placed in the primary impurity removal box. An activated carbon filling cavity is formed in the position, on the lower side of the isolation net plate, of the loading frame. A stone filling layer is paved on the upper side of the isolation net plate. The ship waste gas desulfuration device is simple and reasonable in structure; waste gas is preprocessed through the primary impurity removal box, and therefore solid impurities in the waste gas are removed; by sufficiently mixing alkali liquid and waste gas, the waste gas mixing effect is improved, and then it is ensured that waste gas is sufficiently purified.
