AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This patented system uses an apparatus that detects when there are leaks or gases inside a closed chamber filled by fluids like nitrogen (NF2) or carbon dioxide (CO2). It helps prevent damage caused from excessive pressures during operation. By measuring this data at different points within the container it will help identify any issues related to its performance.

Problems solved by technology

The technical problem addressed in this patents relates to improving the quality control (QC) of gas insulted equipments like transformer stations due to their potential vulnerabilities caused by environmental factors including water vapor condensate mistions, impurities from materials within them, and residual gases generated when decompositions occur. Current solutions involve collecting data continuously while performing tests periodically, resulting in delayed response times and reduced reliability. There is therefore a demand for improved techniques for inspecting sulfur compounds and other harmful constituents released from industrial sources without interrupting the natural gas supply.

Abstract

The invention discloses a sulfur hexafluoride decomposition product gas pressure monitoring device based on gas in-situ detection. The device comprises a gas circuit part, a detection part and a power supply part; the gas circuit part comprises a gas supplementing pipeline, a gas using pipeline, a testing pipeline, a reference pressure inflation valve, a reference pressure locking valve and a reference pressure cavity; the detection part comprises a differential pressure sensor, a differential pressure display meter, a pressure sensor and a reference pressure display meter; and the power supply part supplies power to the detection part. In a transformer substation field environment with violent temperature and humidity changes, the pressure of SF6 gas components can be continuously monitored for a long time under the condition that the operation state of SF6 gas insulation equipment is not interfered, so that a corresponding test basis is provided for perfecting an SF6 decomposition theory and a chemical diagnosis technology of electrical equipment.
