The invention discloses a preparation method of strontium titanate (SrTiO3) ceramic with high dielectric constant and low dielectric loss. The main technical scheme is characterized by firstly takingSrCO3, TiO2 and Nb2O5 as raw materials, taking the materials according to a ratio of chemical formula expressed as SrTi(1-1.25)xNbxO3, carrying out wet ball milling, mixing and drying to obtain driedpowder, putting the dried powder in an electric furnace, calcining the dried powder for appropriate time under certain temperature and then taking the dried powder out, carrying out wet ball milling,drying and sieving to obtain fine strontium titanate ceramic powder; molding the powder by dry pressing, putting the powder in a high-temperature electric furnace, and sintering for 2 hours at the temperature of 1420-1480 DEG C to obtain the required strontium titanate ceramic. The prepared strontium titanate ceramic has excellent dielectric properties; the dielectric constant of the strontium titanate ceramic can be maintained at 296-303 and is equivalent to that of the ordinary strontium titanate ceramic; the maximum Q*f value is close to 7000GHz and is far higher than that of the ordinary strontium titanate ceramic. The method is simple in process, can easily achieve large-scale production, and has an extremely high practical value.
