Copper acetate,
thioacetamide and
oleic acid serve as raw materials, and a water bath method or hydrothermal method is adopted to prepare the
oleic acid-modified
copper sulphide nano-material.The preparation method includes the steps that firstly, a
thioacetamide and oleic acid
mixed solution and a
copper acetate solution are prepared; then, the copper acetate solution is dropwise added into the
thioacetamide and oleic acid
mixed solution, and a reaction is performed with the water bath method or hydrothermal method to obtain copper sulphide nano-rods.Compared with a CuS nano-material not modified with oleic acid, the oleic acid-modified copper CuS nano-material has the advantages that the wear rate is reduced to 3.05*10<-17>m<3>.N<-1>.m<-1> from 2.37*10<-16>m<3>.N<-1>.m<-1>, the
friction coefficient is reduced to 0.0345 from 0.0618, the friction and wear performance of lubricating oil is greatly improved, the
friction coefficient and the wear rate are effectively reduced, and the oleic acid-modified copper CuS nano-material can serve as a nano-lubricating
oil additive.Besides, the preparation technology is simple, and the cost is low.
