The invention provides a front
windshield having a function of detecting rainfall and
fog. The front
windshield comprises an outer glass plate and an inner glass plate between which at least a first transparent conductive layer for sensing the rainfall and a second transparent conductive layer for sensing the
fog are arranged. On the first transparent conductive layer, at least three mutually insulated transparent rainfall detecting electrodes are disposed in an area corresponding to a rainfall sensing area, and a first transparent
electrode is disposed in an area corresponding to a
fog sensing area and serves as a rainfall shielding layer of the detection area of a fog capacitive sensor. On the second transparent conductive layer, at least two independent and mutually insulated transparent fog detecting electrodes are disposed in an area corresponding to a fog sensing area, and a second transparent
electrode is disposed in an area corresponding to the rainfall sensing area and servesas a fog shielding layer of the detection area of a rainfall capacitive sensor. The front
windshield can prevent the
fogging on the surface of the inner glass plate from affecting a rainfall detectingcapacitor and the rainwater outside the outer glass plate from affecting a fog detecting
capacitor, thereby improving detection precision.
