AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This patented technology allows for better quality films made from poly(propylenegly) (PPE)/polyamides (PA). Water based acrylic ester resins have been developed specifically for use in this process due their excellent properties like glossiness or transparency. However, these resists tend to lose some of them when exposed to sunlight over time because they become too yellowed after exposure to light. To solve this problem, an organopolysulfonate compound was added during production to enhance durability against UV rays.

Problems solved by technology

The technical problem addressed by this patented technology relates to improving how well an aqueous printing liquid can stick onto surfaces like polypropylene (PE) or polystyrene (PS), while also ensuring that these materials have excellent durability under extreme conditions during storage.

Abstract

The invention discloses water-based plastic ink which is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 65-85% of water-soluble acrylic resin, 15-25% of water-based color paste, 10-20% of deionized water and the balance of ammonia water, wherein the water-soluble acrylic resin is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 12-18 parts of methyl methacrylate, 12-18 parts of butyl acrylate, 4-8 parts of acrylic acid, 1.5-2.5 parts of hydroxyethyl acrylate, 0.5-1 part of diacetone acrylamide, 33-46 parts of propylene glycol methyl ether acetate, 16-23 parts of dimethyl formamide, 3-6 parts of polyoxyethylene ether, 1-3 parts of polyoxyethylene glycol alkyl ester, 0.5-2 parts of dimethylaminoethanol, 0.5-1 part of azodiisobutyronitrile, 0.5-0.8 parts of adipic acid dihydrazide and 80-160 parts of distilled water. According to the water-based plastic ink disclosed by the invention, the water-soluble acrylic resin is taken as a vehicle, so that the water-based plastic ink can maintain good coating colorability and good adhesive force on a PE/PP (polyethylene/polypropylene) film.
