Abstract

The invention discloses a dust removal structure of an air conditioner and a dust removal method thereof. The dust removal structure comprises a dust removal opening capable of being opened or closed,a filter net, a driving device connected with the filter net and a dust suction device communicating with the dust removal opening, the filter net is electrically connected with an electrostatic generator, the driving device comprises a motor and a spring, the spring is connected with the filter net, the dust suction device comprises a dust collection box, a dust suction device and a dust storagebox, the dust removal method of the air conditioner comprises the steps of driving the filter net to move to the dust removal opening, starting the dust suction device and the dust removal opening tocarry out dust removal on the filter net, and starting the air conditioner after dust removal is finished; and after the air conditioner is shut down, opening the dust removal opening, driving the filter net to move to the dust removal opening for dust removal, and after dust removal is finished, driving the filter net to move to a closed air opening. The dust removal structure of the air conditioner is simple, dust flying is prevented, the dust removal portability and efficiency can be greatly improved, air quality is greatly improved, and power consumption is reduced.
