Method for preparing high-temperature resistant microporous membrane

ActiveCN103811704AClearly definedEasy to understandCell component detailsPolymer sciencePolypropylene
The invention relates to a method for preparing a high-temperature resistant microporous membrane. The method sequentially comprises the following steps: (A) mixing raw materials consisting of 20-55% (by weight) of resin mixture and 45-80% (by weight) of membrane forming solvent; (B) carrying out melt extrusion on the mixed raw materials, and cooling to form a sheet; (C) longitudinally and transversely stretching the sheet, so as to form a membrane; (D) extracting the membrane forming solvent from the membrane through an extraction solvent, so as to form a microporous membrane; (E) carrying out heat-setting on the microporous membrane formed in the step (D), wherein the resin mixture consists of the ingredients in percentage by weight: 2-10% of high-temperature resistant resin, 5-15% of polypropylene and 75-93% of polyethylene, the melting point of the high-temperature resistant resin is higher than 170 DEG C, and polyethylene with the molecular weight greater than 106 accounts for 10-30% the total weight of the polyethylene. The method for preparing the high-temperature resistant microporous membrane, disclosed by the invention, aims to provide the high-temperature resistant microporous membrane which is good in temperature resistance and relatively high in melting rupture temperature and better meets the use requirements of lithium battery diaphragms.

A polyolefin microporous membrane is disclosed. The membrane has a width of not less than 100 mm, and a variation range of an F25 value in a width direction is not greater than 1 MPa. The F25 value is a value obtained by dividing a load at 25% elongation of a sample of the laminated polyolefin microporous membrane as measured with a tensile testing machine by a cross-sectional area of the sample.
