Abstract

The invention discloses a preparation method of functionalized polypropylene copolymer. In the method, an imidazole-based cobalt catalyst is adopted, and the copolymer is obtained by the copolymerization of propylene and polar monomers which are catalyzed by the catalyst in the presence of propylene. The density and quantity of the polar functional groups of the polypropylene copolymer can be adjusted. The copolymer maintains the good characteristics of polypropylene such as the original high melting point and high crystallinity.
