The invention provides a computer power
supply management method based on a CPLD. The method includes the steps of sending out a
system state
signal indicator though a
system bridge piece to obtain current
system information, controlling power supply modules according to the
system information, obtaining current system temperature information by means of fan management modules in the CPLD through an I2C
bus, and stably controlling the temperature of a main board by adjusting the rotating speeds of fans, thereby achieving power
supply management and fan control of a whole computer from the two aspects. According to the computer power
supply management method, a CPLD
chip is adopted as a main control
chip, the multiple power supply modules and the multiple fan management modules are controlled through the
chip, hardware
design space is saved, the method is high in
controllability and flexible in configuration, the product modularized use rate of an enterprise is increased, and production cost is reduced to a certain extent.
