10 results about "Butanol" patented technology

Butanol (also called butyl alcohol) is a four-carbon alcohol with a formula of C₄H₉OH, which occurs in five isomeric structures (four structural isomers), from a straight-chain primary alcohol to a branched-chain tertiary alcohol; all are a butyl or isobutyl group linked to a hydroxyl group (sometimes represented as BuOH, n-BuOH, i-BuOH, and t-BuOH). These are n-butanol, 2 stereoisomers of sec-butanol, isobutanol and tert-butanol. Butanol is primarily used as a solvent, as an intermediate in chemical synthesis, and as a fuel. It is sometimes also called biobutanol when produced biologically and petrobutanol when produced from petroleum; those two names refer to the same substance, but highlight their different origins.

Chlorogenic acid and galuteolin in honeysuckle flower superhigh pressure extraction method and HPLC quantitative analysis method

The invention discloses a rapid and high efficiency chlorogenic acid and galuteolin in honeysuckle flower extraction method and a HPLC quantitative analysis method, and which comprise the following steps: superhigh pressure extraction and quantitative analysis. Superhigh pressure extraction comprises the steps as follows: firstly crushing dried honeysuckle flower and filtering by a sieve with 60-80 meshes, adding water or ethanol, methanol and n butanol organic solvent into the honeysuckle flower powder according to 1:10-1:100 solid liquid ratio, mixing and sealing, immersing at normal temperature, placing the mixture into a high pressure container, leaching with pressure at 20-60 DEG C. for 1-5 min, relieving pressure, carrying out centrifugation of extract product and obtaining the honeysuckle flower extract. Quantitative analysis: after centrifugation, diluting 2ml of the obtained supernatant to 10 ml with distilled water in a volumetric flask, refrigerating for standby. The chlorogenic acid and galuteolin in honeysuckle flower are extracted by a superhigh pressure technology and are carried out by a content determination, and the invention has the characteristics of high recovery rate, short extraction time, small solvent amount, simple operation, accuracy, good repeatability, no pollution, safety, low energy consumption, etc.

Continuous single vessel butanol synthesis by fermentation

InactiveCN102439161ABacteriaBiofuelsSingle vesselMicrobiology
The present invention describes a method for producing butanol by fermentation of carbohydrates using mixed populations of acidogenic-phase cells and solventogenic-phase cells of Clostridium in a solitary vessel. The present system as described does not require intermittent adjustment of pH or venting of headspace gases. The method provides a process for removal of the butanol product which does not irreversibly harm the cells and conditions are described where such cells may resume butanol synthesis in the same solitary vessel. The invention also describes compositions and biologically pure cultures which comprise the Clostridium cells as disclosed.

High-performance environment-friendly alcohol-based fuel

InactiveCN108456560AIncrease the calorific value of combustionWide variety of sourcesLiquid carbonaceous fuelsButanolMethanol
The invention provides a high-performance environment-friendly alcohol-based fuel. The fuel is prepared from, by weight, 80-90 parts of methanol, 2-8 parts of ethanol, 3-5 parts of tert-butanol, 0.01-0.08 part of sodium bromide, 1-2 parts of glycerin and 2-5 parts of xylene. The burning calorific value of the high-performance environment-friendly alcohol-based fuel can exceed 9000 Kcal / kg, which can meet the temperature requirement of boiler burners and large drying hearths. The fuel has a wide raw material source and a low price, and emits a small amount of harmful gas and causes little environmental pollution after burning, which achieves the purposes of energy saving and emission reduction.

Green method for preparing butanol and octanol by hydrogenation catalyst

ActiveCN111018667AOrganic compound preparationPreparation by hydrogenationChemistryButanol
The invention relates to a green method for preparing butanol and octanol, and in particular, relates to a green method for preparing butanol and octanol by using a hydrogenation catalyst. The methodcomprises the steps: by taking butanol and octanol raffinate as a raw material, carrying out primary distillation pretreatment to obtain a primary fraction, mixing and preheating the primary fraction, introducing the primary fraction into a catalytic rectification tower, carrying out catalytic hydrogenation reaction, filling the catalytic rectification tower with a monatomic palladium catalyst, and extracting a reaction product from the tower kettle of the catalytic rectification tower to obtain butanol and octanol, wherein the monatomic palladium catalyst is a monatomic palladium catalyst prepared by taking aluminum oxide as a carrier and utilizing a photodeposition method. According to the monoatomic palladium catalyst prepared by the invention, metal is uniformly dispersed on the carrier in a monoatomic form, excellent catalytic performance is formed, and more active sites of the monoatomic catalyst are exposed, so that the catalytic hydrogenation efficiency is remarkably enhanced;the high-purity butanol and octanol is prepared by adopting proper processes and conditions, the purity of the product is greater than or equal to 98.8%, and the single yield is greater than or equalto 99.1%.
