The present invention relates to a composition which includes a fungus and at least one growth-promoting component which is an organic acid, inorganic acid, animal feed antibiotic, conventional growth promoter or plant extract, prebiotic, probiotic, synbiotic, enzyme or herb. The fungus is present in an amount from about 50% to 99.9% by weight.
