The invention relates to a method for evaluating
odor pollutants in a
working environment. The method comprises determining an
odor pollution source, recognizing the main
odor pollutant, and analyzing the characteristics, distribution and so on of the odor
pollutant; constructing a
mathematical model describing the relationship between the odor
pollutant concentration and the aversion degree; monitoring the odor pollutant concentration in the environment by field sampling to evaluate the field odor
pollution; simulating the odor pollutant concentration by hydromechanical calculation
software FLUENT to obtain the concentration of each odor pollutant in the region; and representing the field odor degree by the odor aversion degree. With reference to the
health risk analysis four-stage method, aiming at the condition of odor pollutants in the
working environment, the invention derives a mixture aversion degree calculation formula by fitting the aversion degrees of methanthiol and
ethanethiol according to a single odorant aversion degree evaluation technique introduced from abroad in combination with related data.
