In medicine, a prosthesis (plural: prostheses; from Ancient Greek prosthesis, "addition, application, attachment") or prosthetic implant is an artificial device that replaces a missing body part, which may be lost through trauma, disease, or a condition present at birth (congenital disorder). Prostheses are intended to restore the normal functions of the missing body part. Amputee rehabilitation is primarily coordinated by a physiatrist as part of an inter-disciplinary team consisting of physiatrists, prosthetists, nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. Prostheses can be created by hand or with Computer-Aided Design (CAD), a software interface that helps creators design and analyze the creation with computer-generated 2-D and 3-D graphics as well as analysis and optimization tools.

A prosthesis assembly is provided that includes a base member that has a helical structure and a cylindrical member opposite the helical structure. The cylindrical member is configured for direct connection with a reverse insert of a reverse shoulder assembly. The cylindrical member is configured for direct connection with a reverse insert spacer in some embodiments. The reverse insert can be inserted into a space defined at least in part by a wall of the cylindrical member and an inferior wall of the of the base member. The helical structure extends between a first end and a second end. The base member also can include one or more pathways. The pathway(s) is accessible from the second end and is directed toward the first end through the helical structure. The pathway is located inward of an outer periphery of the helical structure, e.g., adjacent to an inner periphery of the helical structure. The pathway extends in a space between successive portions of the helical structure. The prosthesis assembly can include a locking device that has a support member and an arm that projects away from the support member. The arm is configured to be disposed in the pathway when the support member is disposed adjacent to the second end of the base member. The arm is disposed through bone in the space between successive portions of the helical structure when the prosthesis assembly is implanted.

A rapid molding method based on an electrorheological fluid, and an apparatus thereof are provided. The electrorheological fluid is jetted to a deposition base station with electric field, the electrorheological fluid is rapidly cured through utilizing an electrorheological effect, and the electrorheological fluid deposits on the deposition base station layer by layer to construct a three dimensional entity; a liquid storage container, a driving pump and a nozzle are sequentially communicated through a pipeline to form an electrorheological fluid conveying path; two control lines are set by a computer, a first control line controls the flow of the driving pump, and a second control line controls the three dimension movement of the nozzle through a servo mechanism; and electrodes which comprise an anode and a cathode closely adhere to two sides of a model to be deposited on the deposition base station to provide the electric field required by the curing of the electrorheological fluid. The apparatus which utilizes the electrorheological effect of the electrorheological fluid and utilizes the electric field to replace a temperature control module and a constant temperature environment in traditional fusion jet rapid molding has the advantages of simple structure, substantial reduction of the cost and energy, and realization of micromation; and the method and the apparatus can be applied to fields of prosthesis models, industrial design, mechanical manufacturing, three dimensional scene display, entertainment and art, and the like.

Real-time imaging contrast method of C-arm X-ray film machine based on 3D model

ActiveCN110432919AComputer-aided planning/modellingRadiation diagnosticsImage contrastProsthesis
The invention discloses a real-time imaging contrast method of a C-arm X-ray film machine based on a 3D model, which belongs to the technical field of picture processing. According to the invention, the 3D model of a prosthesis at a hip replacement surgery site is constructed, during a surgery, a position sensing device is used to determine a deflection angle. According to the obtained deflectionangle, a corresponding control prosthesis implant picture matching a current surgical angle is obtained by projection, the picture is used as the contrast of the image formed during the placement of the prosthesis during the surgery to confirm the accuracy of the placement of the prosthesis and the deviation angle, the technical problem of low imaging accuracy of the C-arm X-ray film machine is solved, The 3D model constructed by the present invention can adapt to various situations during the surgery, and obtained corresponding projection maps according to different deflection angles can be used as surgical comparison, which can ensure accuracy and reduce risk. The invention uses a projection function to attenuate a voxel matrix, which can simultaneously obtain the surface and internal information of the 3D model, and is convenient for judging the direction of implant.
