14 results about "Aerosol" patented technology

An aerosol is a suspension of fine solid particles or liquid droplets, in air or another gas. Aerosols can be natural or anthropogenic. Examples of natural aerosols are fog, dust, forest exudates and geyser steam. Examples of anthropogenic aerosols are haze, particulate air pollutants and smoke. The liquid or solid particles have diameters typically <1 μm; larger particles with a significant settling speed make the mixture a suspension, but the distinction is not clear-cut. In general conversation, aerosol usually refers to an aerosol spray that delivers a consumer product from a can or similar container. Other technological applications of aerosols include dispersal of pesticides, medical treatment of respiratory illnesses, and combustion technology. Diseases can also spread by means of small droplets in the breath, also called aerosols (or sometimes bioaerosols).

Simulated accelerated test device and method of acidic marine aerosol-caused influence on steel atmospheric corrosion

InactiveCN105987872AResolution cycleSettlement feeWeather/light/corrosion resistanceControl systemMetallic materials
The invention discloses a simulated accelerated test device and method of acidic marine aerosol-caused influence on steel atmospheric corrosion and belongs to the technical field of a metal material atmospheric corrosion simulated accelerated test. The method utilizes the aerosol simulated test device to carry out an indoor accelerated corrosion experiment. The method comprises preparing a NaCl solution with a concentration of 3.5%, adjusting the solution pH to 3.5 through concentrated hydrochloric acid with a concentration of 38% to obtain an original solution of the acidic marine aerosol, atomizing the solution through adjusting parameters of a solution flow control system and a gas compression system in the device to obtain aerosol liquid drops so that an acidic aerosol environment is simulated, and depositing the aerosol liquid drops on the surface of a sample through a wet settlement method for 4-32 cycles, wherein one experimental cycle comprises a wet settlement process for 10min and a natural drying process for 350min. The method for researching steel atmospheric corrosion through simulated accelerated corrosion can conveniently and fast acquire steel corrosion data in corrosion and determine acidic marine aerosol-caused influence on steel atmospheric corrosion.
