The invention provides a building method of a concrete faced rockfill dam in a karst development region. Compared with a conventional dam foundation treatment mode, a mode of the method provided by the invention is characterized in that the dam foundation basic treatment of the mode comprises two types: riverbed section dam foundation treatment and left and right bank dam foundation treatment; fortwo kinds of foundation surfaces, exposed water-eroded groove inner surface soil, loose soil layers and boulder stones need to be cleanly cleared; undisturbed filling soil capable of being cleared inwater-eroded grooves is cleared; and for conditions that the water-eroded grooves are narrow, and filling clay is difficult to clear in a local region, 30cm of reverse filter materials are filled andbuilt on the surface, and compaction treatment is performed. Similar problems of karst development, wide spreading of water-eroded grooves and stalagmites and clints, concrete faced rockfill dam foundation construction treatment of a gryke development region are solved. An obvious treatment mode is provided for conditions of exposed water-eroded grooves, stalagmites and clints and the like of thedam foundation. The treatment mode has the advantages that the treatment effect of the dam foundation basic surface can be effectively ensured; and adverse influence caused by nonuniform sedimentation due to a dam foundation problem on an anti-seepage body and a dam body is avoided.
